Author Fest 2007

Author Fest will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Genetti Best Western. This is a ticketed event presented by the Tudor Bookshop and the Luzerne County Library System. Tickets can be purchased for $16 per ticket at the Osterhout Free Library and it's branches. To see the information about the authors, click on the Author Guide.

If you are not interested in attending the program, no problem. You can still contribute to the fundraiser event for your library and win fabulous prizes by buying raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are sold for $2.00 each or 3 for $ 5.00 and can be purchased at the Osterhout Free Library and its branches. Drawing for the raffle will be held on October 21, 2007.

If you are trying this from home you will need to enter the barcode number on the back of your Luzerne County Library card. Click on AP Multimedia Archive and check the Graphics PDF Format box. First Week Of October is celebrated as an Amnesty Week

Are overdue fines stopping you from checking out library items? Are you embarrassed to visit the library because you know you have that long-overdue item sitting on your coffee table? Don’t worry. Here is your chance to regain your borrowing privileges and banish your guilt. During the first week of October, bring all your overdue items to one of the participating Luzerne County Library System locations and we will waive your fines for undamaged returned items…no questions asked.
