Osterhout Free Library
will be closed onWednesday, December 24th & Thursday, December 25th.
Library will be open from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on
Friday, December 26th & Saturday, December 27th.
The Library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29th and Tuesday, December 30 th and will be closed on Wednesday, December 31st and Thursday, January 1st.

I think despite the importance of public libraries, they are routinely having their budgets cut by state legislature. Funding has dwindled so badly that some smaller public libraries have been forced to cut their hours and release employees.
With the number of visitors is the same it does not, therefore, LI is not about that!
